Re: 2L. No motivation
first exam is tomorrow. open book tax, half of it is multiple choice with a 3.2 curve. lolwhut. motivation: none.
second exam is wednesday. open book crim pro. the teacher was 10 minutes late to every class & half of the class consisted of watching youtube videos and talking about them. we didn't even finish the assigned material. plus this guy is a super easy grader. (not to mention its probably the easiest subject matter ever.) motivation: none.
third exam is an open book take home jurisprudence exam. i didn't read all semester. barely went to class. but on the first day the professor described the class as "the biggest cream puff course offered at this school." aka he gives us a grade for being willing to listen to his crazy ideas twice a week. motivation: none.
fourth exam is next wednesday the 14th. aka last day of exams. aka 2 days before my best friend's wedding. i went to class the first week and never went back. didn't do any of the reading. read about 50 pages of the book over thanksgiving break. feeling like i might be a little screwed on this one, but it's some dumb class called analytical methods so how hard can it possibly be to learn in a week? it's like math for people who are already bad at math. the last math class i took was ap calculus in high school. i got a 5. not really worried about a little arithmetic, accounting & z-scores. plus we get a formula sheet so there's really nothing to memorize. motivation: little to none.
oh yeah my 5th class was a series of take home exams throughout the semester. i got the lowest grade in the class. my raw score was 40% of the raw score of the highest grade. i still got a B.
i love 2L.

Planning to write a note AND take a seminar next semester that'll require a nice, lengthy paper.NoleinNY wrote:30 page paper for a seminar class. Done all the research, have it outlined... Just need to actually write the damn thing. Thankfully I only have 3 exams.
I'm a 2L. All for extra units. I must in insane.

Remember how during 1L, you'd have dreams starting in like October about exams and hypos and being freaked out? After 3 hours of studying Secured Transaction yesterday, I had a dream where I was a bank and was making sure I perfected my security interests. WTF? It frightened me a bit too much; planning on studying no more than a few hours each day.

Panic setting in... familiar feeling....
Thank my employer has had a 100% offer rate the past couple years (and at least last year everyone accepted, which likely means no cold offering).

I'm in the middle of a 24-hr take-home exam. Just took a nap and watched several tv shows.

This. I am really praying that the evidence knowledge I sort of just patched together is enough for me to stand on during my exam tomorrow. I feel shaky at best.f0bolous wrote:finally in full panic mode 13 hours before the exam.
