Con lawl exam in 24 hours. Just realized I dont know anything about Con Lawl. Hell, I barely remember the facts of some cases since we went over so many. Chimerensky only goes so far. Oh well, farewell GPA, it was a good ride.

Civ Pro in about 6.5 hours.

After the fall final, the difference between a C+ and a A- was about 15 points (out of 150)

Spring final is worth 200

this curve is gonna be butt-tight, FML

Con Law: Done
Property: Done

Kontracts: Tomorrow
Criminal Procedure: Thursday

All 4 closed book. Feeling ok for K's tomorrow, barely looked at Crim Pro yet. My body is going to collapse Thursday at 1 pm.

I didn't use my book or outline for the vast majority of my finals, but I looked at it a couple of times during Property, and I literally reading my outline and copying sentences from it for Civ Pro.

DONE with closed book K's

7174 words...3.5 hours. I am pleased with myself. His exam is a known typing contest and all I can do is hope that my 7174 words were relevant

ooh ouch. I would totally tell the person. I dont get that...like why would you purposely mislead someone? If you did your job all semester and studied properly, I doubt that the person figuring what strict scrutiny is FIVE minutes before the exam would pose any competition whatsoever. ppl r retarded. and also, I feel like what goes around comes around...

LoL this is why I love exams with word limits. I cannot understand why any professor would want to read twenty pages that were written in 3.5 hours.

Note to future 1L's: if your computer is 3+ years old, get a new one. My computer fried during my contracts exam :/ (I should have taken the hint when my computer kept losing my work and freezing on me throughout the year)

Although they were able to retrieve my exam, the stress and lost time because of the incident will show in my grade :(

Anyways, good luck to everyone else that still has exams. My last day of the writing competition for law review is tomorrow, then I can put 1L behind my life forever.

yeah i dont get that either. Like why would you want to read 20 pages of frantically written crap? pretty much everyone's mission on this exam was to write as much as humanly possible. its straight up issue spotting with lots of policy thrown in. you get one point for everything you say. maybe he likes reading exams or something haha

I know this is OT... but BarbellDreams/other Pitt students thoughts on this? Didn't want to put it in all of the 0L threads.

I love Crossley, had her for Torts. She is truly a quality professor, but apparently the rankings have steadily gone down for Pitt ever since she took over (We were at 45 at some point?!). As for the CSO, he was absolutely terrible. Literally I could have done a better job. Furthermore they refused to listen to student suggestions when we had ideas. Hell, I had an idea that cost absolutely no funding and would have greatly improved the internship system and they brushed it off as "too much work".

My last final is tomorrow, and I just went to a baseball game. I feel I made the right decision.

My last final is tomorrow, its Con Lawl. I just want it to be over, I feel like the entire subject is over my head, I am overmatched in that class, and I barely known the absolute basics of the cases. I am currently watching the NBA playoffs and have given up on studying.

Yeah, like what skill is this testing and how does that relate to being a lawyer? I get that you sometimes have think on your feet, but you generally do so after being fully steeped in the case. I dunno for sure, cuz I am not a lawyer, but I just don't think any client would ever want you to take care of their case in 3.5 hours and hand them a poorly written 20 page crazytownpaper.

It's probably because it makes it easier to curve.

I'M BACK, LOL

Last exam in 1.5 hours. Feel infinitely better about my exam performance this semester. Made a conscious effort to slow down and think more on my exams, instead of typing my way into a B+/A-.

Looking forward to getting white boy wasted tonight.

Good luck! We finished Friday, and I have done nothing productive since then. Feels good, man.

Can we not get kicked out tonight? Or is that the objective?

10 minutes until 8 hour property take home final exam with a stricter word limit then what the teacher uses to answer the question in her memos (she goes over 1000 words over usually-instant F). I know nothing about property, this class has made no sense, I can't even read or understand the usual policy question on previous exams, and my note stack is larger than the textbook..

This is where we see how much I can BS property, it seems to me everything about property is BS so my answers may go over very well.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
