Meh, depends on the prof. I wouldn't have done as well in Ks if I didn't attend class religiously, take notes like my life depended on it, stalked him after/before class, etc. He's in his 80s, verrrry traditional, and particular about how he wants exam answers structured and what terminology to use.mephistopheles wrote:stillwater wrote:class is a flame.

I learn everything I need to know in class so that I don't have to read the casebook.

Hey CSWS'ers, wanna cop dem phat study aids? Last call for:
1) My Property prof's excellent cheat sheet on Present and Future Estates--only 2 pages and very comprehensible
2) My 2L mentor's Singer Property outline
3) My 2L mentor's Kadish Crim outline a.k.a. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO' DAT
4.) My 2L mentor's responses to Property exam ?s
5.) My Ks chart
6.) My Ks exam ?s responses
7.) A detailed Farnsworth Ks review from my SALSA's outline bank
Feel free to PM me. My mentor and I received "A"s in the respective classes, however, full disclosure about Ks--my prof is elderly, obsessed with the mailbox rule, a little nuts, and does not test on the UCC, so YMMV.

Checking in. Trying to finish E&Es and Chereminsky in a few weeks so I can focus on exams for a month. About halfway done through each. Hope everyone's striving!

Do you write out responses to E&E problems? My Crim Pro prof is actually the author of the same E&E, so perhaps it might be beneficial.LetsGoLAW wrote:Checking in. I have objective ?s on my Crim and Con Law exams--what are good supplements to practice multiple choice, T/F, etc.? Are the Barbri materials, other than the lectures, any good?

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
Most, yes, but I have found it to take too long. Since finals are coming up, I've been reading through all of them and answering them. The E&Es only apply one or two rules with a single issue, so it will be helpful to my exams which have MPC. Plus, I am solely interested in improving legal analysis, which truly -- and subtly -- improves when going through them.PinkLotus wrote:Do you write out responses to E&E problems? My motivation for doing well: a pink Lotus sportscar. I think it would be very fitting given my username/avatar.

This thread has been quiet lately. As is the library. I am the only one here ripping through chapter after chapter of E&E. I hope you are all on your grind.

Catching up on outlines here. Hoping to spend spring break polishing them and doing the E&Es. My goal is to have two weeks to focus on practice exams. Five chapters of Property E&E this evening for me: I do the questions later and am focusing on the outline foundation ATM.

Brief DONE! Finally! Good luck to those still grinding.
Back to reviewing and outlining. This semester feels like I'm fielding one distraction after the other that keeps me from focusing on classes: first the 1L job hunt, then this never-ending brief, and now I'm getting all these emails about preparing for OCI...

Im up to date on my two doctrinal classes. But honestly my master outlines are shit. Luckily I have some friends to collaborate with. My attack OLs are looking good. I basically used PLs brilliant Kadish OL to make it, which was much more useful than the shit OL I created on my own.LetsGoLAW wrote:How is everyone's outlining coming along?

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
CSWS marathon today. Already knocked out one of my P/F class's assignments for next week. On to the important stuff!
When is everyones spring break? I have class next week, but then have the following week off.
What are everyones plans? Going home? Vacation? CSWS SEPARATION?
Im probably going to visit my parents for a few days, but then get back to base for a CSWS marathon. Hopfully I will have solidified my knowledge of everything up to this point well enough to start doing Hypos.
