Except for the whole "I don't know what we covered in civ pro this semester" part, but other than that, it's easy street.
Trying to read my Glannon Guide. My brain keeps seeing Treeco and John, Buildco and Steve.
Damn right. Oak is clearly the way to go. And not stacking it neatly? Fuhgeddaboutit.

I just want to point out that this time, there was no question lifted straight from the booklet.
Which made me sad.

No but lots of the individual questions were almost identical to one from the exam book. But I guess that's a product of there only being so many ways to ask about about enforceability defenses or anticipatory repudiation.kalvano wrote:fathergoose wrote:It's entirely possible to skip the review sessions, miss most classes, cram with the exam booklet the day before and still do better than median. If someone is advocating illegal conduct, you use the Brandenburg test. If the conduct that the person is advocating is technically illegal but shouldn't be because making it illegal is a violation of the constitution (e.g. illegal for men to have custody but women can, I advocate men having custody and am charged with advocacy of illegal conduct -- statute says it's illegal but it would probably be invalid under equal protection if the statute were challenged), the person can still be charged with and convicted of advocacy, right (because he could have gone to the "political process" to have the law overturned rather than violating it)?
That test was a total clusterfuck. I won't be shocked if I get a 79 on it, nor will I be shocked if I somehow get a 92.
It would be nice if the teacher wrote in plain English and you could tell what the hell he wanted you to talk about.

True, but I was hoping for a copy, copy, copy answer.

Yeah, glad that four hour shit is over. Didn't finish but oh well. Could be worse, I guess. One more final and I will be in New Orleans drinking till I puke/blackout, gambling all my money (government's money) away at Harrah's Casino, and enjoying the sophisticated elegance (lack thereof) of the female dancers (strippers) on Bourbon Street. Bring it son.

Not sure. I just caught up trying to hit all the million issues in the first 3 problems. And when I say I didn't finish, I only answered maybe 1 or 2 points worth on the last 15 point question. FML. So, your welcome for helping your grade out. lolkalvano wrote:I wonder how many people didn't finish? He so lied when he said four hours was enough time.

Ok, I've got a closed book civ pro final (Covering Jurisdiction and Res Judicata/Preclusion) on monday. I'm told the professor is famous for pretending her final is open book (asking about specific cases and demanding exact knowledge of everything.)
How the hell should I be preparing? BarBri civ pro lecture and E&E are my starting points. My notes are in shambles.
