So I'm done, but I'm not going to feel done until...
1) Prof gets back to me telling me he's accepted my independent study paper and is giving me the credit
2) I get my grades
We have to get our grades before graduation, right? Or do they just assume we passed and give us the diplomas?

How do honors work if grades won't up up yet. Unless all these profs plan on having all grades done by this Friday how are they gonna announce cum laude and Coif etc. at graduation? Just not taking last semester into account and going off of what you had after Fall semester?

Not for us. It was this way for high school and undergrad, but for law school we have a week between our last final and graduation so they can grade everything and make sure we pass.Ludovico Technique wrote:They assume you passlos blancos wrote:So I'm done, but I'm not going to feel done until...

About fonts, every court is different, check local rules. D. Minn. and I think CA8 both use TNR 13 (I know D. Minn. is 13, CA8 I think so), and SCOTUS uses some form of Century Schoolbook. CA7 seems to use something else.

Wow, ours are a lot tighter than that. 3L grades have to be in on a Friday by noon, and graduation is two days later.kalvano wrote:My school requires grades be in for graduating 3L's Monday before graduation.

We finished Friday and we have two weeks until graduation, so I think they should have grades back by then. My only exam was a scantron multiple choice exam so one would think they'd turn that around pretty fast.

I'm more worried about my MPRE score than my final.

I wonder if the scores will come out this week. They usually say to expect a 5-week wait, and this Saturday is 5 weeks after the MPRE.BarbellDreams wrote:I havent herd of the subject matter of half the questions on the MPRE at all when I was taking it and still passed in all states. I think at some schools you just don't find out until well after graduationBarbellDreams wrote:How do honors work if grades won't up up yet. Halfway done with final take home exam. Have absolutely no interest in finishing other half and debating playing Fallout 3 for a few hours before getting back to it.

I don't even have to turn in a paper until day before graduation. I think NU just calculates them after graduation.MSPeast wrote:Wow, ours are a lot tighter than that. 3L grades have to be in on a Friday by noon, and graduation is two days later.kalvano wrote:My school requires grades be in for graduating 3L's Monday before graduation.
