They aren't due until the 21st... I have no hopes of seeing those grades for at least a week.

Grades for me come out Friday. The wait is getting more and more painful. The worst part is the sinking feeling about what the results will be. I expect a drop for sure since con law brutalized me. But im on edge about how big the drop will be. Small drop and im still in contention for top firms at OCI. Throw in another B+ though and a bunch of firms will go running. Please let it be friday so I can stop worrying.

I should have just half-assed the reading and used someone else's outline like last time, because whatever I did this time didn't work. Or I got incredibly unlikely. It's hard to say.
Still waiting on the last class. Depending on what it is, I either stay in the top 10% or drop out of the top 10%. If it's the latter, and I mean this with all seriousness, I will consider cutting my losses. That's how low my level of confidence is that I'll be able to find employment even hovering around that number.

Sad times indeed. I would feel more patient if other sections hadn't already gotten back multiple grades.

C in Cuntracts
somewhat of a humbling experience
out of top 10% into 25%-33%... lulz at my arrogance, but at least PD's don't seem to care too much about grades

Kinda seems like an overreaction man, how far out of the top 10% would you drop? Considering you could stay in, you cant drop farther than top 15-20%.

ConLawl fucked me a bit, but not as bad as it could have (up until that damn last grade, my GPA actually went up this past semester

). While I'm disappointed, I guess it's hard to complain about a .02 drop when it could have been a lot worse and when I pretty much "won" at 1L, considering I go to a T2 and pretty much needed to be where I am to at least have a shot at a T14/BigLawl.

All guesswork right now. 3.542 was top 15% last year. I'm at a 3.65 right now. My best guess is that top 10% is hovering around 3.6ish. I'm not sure practicing at any of the places I want to be at is possible outside the top 10% at my school. Heck, even top 5% is necessary at some places.
To put that into perspective, a week ago or so my GPA was 3.92.

A large portion of the T1 these days, neh? At least if you mean top 10% for big law. Scattered reports suggest that hiring was down at the T14 but nuked from orbit leaving a smoldering crater at most points south.

The anxiety is killing me. Grades are due today, but our grade was not posted (they post on boards before they get updated online) as of an hour ago.

Depends on the T2, but for the big law or busts yeah. Thank god I have pretty much no interest in big law.

My cumulative GPA went down about .2. Not gonna dredge up my old post, but I predicted 1 A-, 1 B+, and 3 A's. I ended up with 3 A's and 2 B+'s, but both B+'s were in 4 credit classes (Property and Conlaw). I have no idea what happened with conlaw--I felt great about that exam, probably the best out of any of mine.
I'm super bummed, especially because I had such high expectations for conlaw. I just have to hope the A's are spread around more uniformly this semester. Expecting a 6-15 spot drop in rank. Good luck to the rest of y'all.

Fellow T2ers, what's your NLJ250 placement just out of curiosity? 12% here according to the most recent data (down from 16.7%).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
