TLS to the rescue! I seriously can't imagine the wealth of information available here compared to just going based on CSO at most schools. It would be like trying to land a passenger aircraft for the first time with no training, hands, eyes, or lungs.

Ask 2Ls pretty much. The good thing is no one else has that info either I guess. My grades were good not great first semester, and still managed to snag a solid number of interviews (more than most) in a market where I had no ties. No offer from 1 CB though lawl

Figured out the %tile though. I've heard anecdotally that firms just figure it out, because they have enough info to estimate.

TLS to the rescue! I seriously can't imagine the wealth of information available here compared to just going based on CSO at most schools. It would be like trying to land a passenger aircraft for the first firs time with no training, hands, eyes, or lungs.

TLS can be helpful but it's entirely anecdotal. One person who interviews bad could tell him to not bid at X firm because they want higher than Y GPA when it's just not true.
