Re: bar results waiting thread
So the IL people have to wait for an e-mail telling them their results are up? Or does it say they passed? Why do they dribble them out...to prevent the site from crashing?

We get e-mails to check our bar messages on the IL bar website. This is killing me too.Joe Quincy wrote:So the IL people have to wait for an e-mail telling them their results are up? Or does it say they passed? Why do they dribble them out...to prevent the site from crashing?

This makes little sense unless they don't want everyone hitting the server at the same time. Surely there isn't some person on the other end typing the scores in manually.JAGGER wrote:We get e-mails to check our bar messages on the IL bar website. It's Illinois, man. Our state isn't exactly "functioning."Joe Quincy wrote:This makes little sense unless they don't want everyone hitting the server at the same time. You'd think if they were going to go to the trouble of e-mailing everyone individually, they'd just tell you if you passed in the e-mail.Holly Golightly wrote: Also, they have had probs with the website crashing in the past.
