I have been waiting for a mod to move this ridiculously stupid thread to thelobbylounge. I'm tired of you two bumping it to the front page. But hey, a lock works just as well.

Ever hear of having wayyyyy too much fun at UG? That was me. I admit, stupid of me, and I'm still making up for it. Hoping to transfer up, has been my plan for some time. But if I do stay at DePaul, so be it. Planning on staying in Chicago. Funny how I haven't gotten a single grade yet, and I already have "abysmal career prospects"...I'm not planning on biglaw. And I got half of UG paid for on scholly. Because my family is not exactly rich, I had to take out loans. If you didn't have to take out loans for UG, you are very very lucky.
Love how you like to kick people when they are down, because they didn't grow up with money. I'll remember that.

Re: Babies.
Let me actually revise my statement: I partied hard for the first 2 years haha. I actually graduated a term early, I stayed my last summer and took a full courseload. I had to work the whole time during school, which is probably why I ended up drinking as much as I did at the start...it let me forget how much responsibility I had.IAFG wrote:hey hey hey don't make assumptions. i went to Iowa, instate, over "better" schools to avoid debt and nannied/worked in a hotel to pay for it as i went. along with living with a lesbian couple in a 1 br apartment. oh, and instead of having too much fun i took extra heavy courseloads so i could graduate in 5 semesters.chicagolaw2013 wrote:Ever hear of having wayyyyy too much fun at UG? As for in-state...I actually got the best financial aid package from my UG than from any other school, including in-state. To this day, I'm still confused as to why, but it's the god's-honest truth.

Alright, can we get back to babies now? Sorry to all for the derailment of the thread by jhare and me. It got way out of hand...should've just let him have his opinion and shut my mouth haha.

I don't know what's going on here, but I do know it's not going on much longer.

And as to this whole damn thread, you need to reframe your inquiry. You're not asking the right question.
