I actually don't mind it, but I think my mood has been swayed by my elective this semester (Law & Economics). It is an E&P circus.stillwater wrote:not down with Lawl & Economics?JG7773 wrote:At least it wasn't the 7th Circuit and the shenanigans of Easterbrook and Posner.stillwater wrote:it was probably that creampuff Traynor. My torts prof last semester referred to it once as "the religion that is law and economics".JG7773 wrote: I actually don't mind it, but I think my mood has been swayed by my elective this semester (Law & Economics). It is an E&P circus.

Do you have to know anything about economics to take that class?JG7773 wrote:

I would say no, but there are only 3 people in the class that don't have a business background (either experience or undergrad degree).stillwater wrote:Do you have to know anything about economics to take that class?JG7773 wrote:

I thought so. I found the tort videos helpful because he gave you some solid exam tips for ways to flag and indicate various arguments. The property videos were ok, but the professor is pretty polarizing. She loves mnemonic devices and that is what she uses throughout the videos, so if that is helpful to you, you will love her.PinkLotus wrote:Are the BarBri vids besides Freer's credited, too?
I am not sure about the ConLaw videos, but they are done by Chemerinksy, so I can't imagine that they are that bad. . .

So, if my 1st final is April 30, is a schedule where I begin outlining on March 1 and begin full practice exams on April 1 credited? I plan to do new readings for classes Mon-Thurs, and outline Fri (Crim Pro), Sat (Crim/Con), and Sun (Civ Pro).

Never watched property, con law is a bit light on details. Sea like decent exam review but not a substitute for class like freer is.InGoodFaith wrote:Property? Con law?

I should have watched that. I started looking at future interests at 5am the day of the test. I think my answer ended up being close to correct but not quite.PinkLotus wrote:Property is very entertaining...Prof Franzese even sings to help make the present and future estates gel, lol.

Yeah, this is the only energy drink they sell at my school's cafe. It's alright. I'm not a big fan of the taste of any energy drink, except maybe sugar free Red Bull.PinkLotus wrote:Any CSWS'ers try Monster? 5 Hour Energy is nasssssty, yo.

They pretty much only have Monster and Red Bull in stores here in NYC, so I finally broke down and ordered a 24 pack of sugar free Rockstar from Amazon. Monster's not bad though.PinkLotus wrote:Any CSWS'ers try Monster? 5 Hour Energy is nasssssty, yo.

For those of you saying you've got property down, what's your secret? I feel like I'm reading the materials without absorbing ANY of the rules.
