PANIC!! 1L Fall Grade Waiting Thread - 2012 Forum

Wasn't expecting to get any grades back until later, but we got our first one so I guess I will check in. Got great grade in property. Hoping that plus hopefully not bombing any of my other classes gets me to the promise land. Not expecting any of my other grades until after the new years, early one was from a noob prof who still cares about student's feelings and such.

I'm really annoyed that my school doesn't release grades until we go back for second semester. If I don't do well, being at school is the last place I'll want to be. Much better to get them earlier so you can adjust and whatnot away from the gunners.

Does it really matter? If you did well - drink. If you didn't do well, drink strong for a few days, and then redouble your efforts, after comparing notes with people who did well.
You can't just work hard in law school, you have to work smart. Otherwise you're just sitting there and spinning your wheels - you feel like you're working at 100%, but you're not actually going anywhere.

Yeah, my school gave us a 3 day window when they'll be posting grades, and I still check every day.

Me too. We don't know the religious persuasions of those who approve the posting of our grades. Maybe they'll want to make a point.

Have not checked grades. I know that once I try the first time the madness will start. I'm depending on my equally neurotic classmates to let me know that grades are out via facebook.
