Don't bother with making an outline or reading. Just get an old outline, memorize, then take practice tests / hypos.kaplowstein wrote:Does anyone have any suggestions for the quickest way to essentially learn Business Associations an Fed Tax in the span of 3 weeks? Focused on jobs for way too much of the semester after striking out at OCI (T14 school) and then depression/being sick a lot set in afterward, have maybe 30% of the reading done in either class, just want to end up being at a 3.1+ or higher for the semester. Is it possible? Any recommendations/tips on essentially learning a lot of a semester's worth of classes in a 2-4 week period for finals would be greatly appreciated. Feel like I know jackshit in my classes from this semester, grades going down would be the death knell on already dim job prospects

I have literally done nothing related to school today, and I think I'm about to drink even more wine, take some benadryl and pass out in the hopes that it will inspire me to wake up early tomorrow.

Re: 2L. No motivation
I'm fairly confident at this point that my grades are going to plummet this semester and I'm probably going to end up gunning away next semester out of an unhealthy sense of competition/need for validation. However, I am holding out hope that my grades won't turn out too badly despite the total lack of work I've put in this semester, which would mean that I would be safe to slack like a motherfucker all throughout the rest of law school. C'monnnnnnnn luck.

Yeah. I realized that I did well first semester, and my grades went down second semester. I am not safe to be doing as little as I have been doing. This is bad times. I'll have gone from like, top 15% to 50% by the time I graduate, which would be baaaddddd. And yet, it seems so likely. I fluked doing ok first semester.

i was supposed to be done with all my outlines by the start of thanksgiving break and now I am starting to tell myself "ok well at least somewhat near the end.." by break, which is two days away.
I am just about caught up w t&e...significant portion of tax is done...bankruptcy I have somebody else's outline but I seriously need to learn this crap because I havent paid attention since some time in october...and fam law I am pretty far behind.
and to top it all off, I am 3 days behind in tax reading and about 2 weeks behind in bankruptcy reading. lovely.

Getting anything done over Thanksgiving break = impossible. Why was this not a problem last year?

i felt oddly relieved yesterday when I heard a girl in one of my classes ask the prof a question and she started it off by saying "so I am starting to outline..."denimchickn wrote:Getting anything done over Thanksgiving break = impossible. Why was this not a problem last year?
