I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. I have a lot more to go before I learn all I need to learn.

They've been feuding all week.

To all and sundry: Reading Disco_barred's legal analysis is like watching an opera without subtitles. You feel stupid because you can't follow everything, but the production is pitch perfect. He knows whereof he speaks.

isn't there a whole class just on landlord tenant at most law schools? I doubt property is that relevant.

hahaha.... I'm convinced that I have lost my spot... The good thing is that I can get straight D's and still be above median at my school. However, median is not good enough....

Geez...2.5 is median at your law school?? That's some impressive grade deflation. Good luck anyway!

2.4 to 2.6 is median at my school.... If I get straight Ds I am a little above that.... But I know I'm not getting straight Ds... I think I'm losing my spot but I don't think I wrote such sucky finals to get Ds.

Haha at the risk of coming off as a douche, B's are kind of the D's of top 10%ers, b/c they still get in there and fuck things up.

Our property final didn't have future interests, tenancies, RAP, Shelley, Merger, Equitable servitudes, adverse posession or covenants. ! lol.... I need to retake property if I want to pass that section of the BAR.
I don't know whether to say that's awesome or just ridiculous. It's awesome because future interests SUCK; on the other hand, as far as I can remember 1L, I think future interests was the only concept I ever learned that took more than a day of grasping and practicing.

That is, at least on my property exam, future interests separated the men from the boys. I cannot even imagine Property without contingent remainders and the like!

I was the first student outside the top ten percent last semester. Less than .01 away. I think I'm going to miss the cut again.

I have my last exam tomorrow (ConLaw) and really haven't been studying all that much today/tonight. I honestly feel like I got it. Is this just being cocky after last semester which will lead to my being a cautionary tale of those who did well and slacked or is it a good sign? Time will tell I suppose.

Obviously knowing the law is extremely important, but if there is anything that I feel I learned from 1st semester its that everyone knows the law. It is your ability to spot issues and apply it (and write well) that sets you gets you A's. Therefore, once you know the law, you can take it a bit easier. Also, studying smarter throughout the semester allowed me to get to exams more prepared for the exams. I will decide if this theory is absolute bullshit or pretty smart in exactly 23 days.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
