Has crim law BLL changed so drastically in recent years as to justify getting the latest supplement? I have the 2009 Dressler.

ive been trying to get an answer to this too. I have the 2009 one.

Yeah I don't think anyone really knows. I have the newest one, but it doesn't seem like there's been any groundbreaking new cases (from what we've learned in class so far).

Yeah, Dressler is the author of the Understanding book.

Legal Writing needs to go. Such a time sink. I calculated this semesters LW grade will only move my GPA .01/.02 away from my avg. Sounds like a waste of time.

Yeah, we have a brief assigned now and the research for that has taken up pretty much all of the time I would use for outlining.

I think I'm gonna go into finals mode spring break (March 20th or thereabouts?). With 4 classes, that finals period is fucking compact as shit. I think I have ONE day between property and con law. KILL ME NOW.

Speaking of Con Law... I got a glimpse at one of my professors past essay questions. I had heard he is big on knowing the case holdings, the reasoning behind the case, the the progeny that follows, and what cases overrules other cases. Seemed easy enough until I saw this:

Discuss the major United States Supreme Court dealing with race from Dred Scott to the present, explaining clearly the issues addressed, the holdings of the cases, and indicate clearly the current state of the law.

My reaction was simply. . .
