Yea, just like I'm going to law school to enjoy the learning experience. Screw getting a job.

looks like we'll find out mid July or so
july 13.. only 3 days before our oci bids are due. The time is ridiculous. So many firms put law review preferred. I don't want to waste bids on the firms if I'm not even on LR, but I don't want to leave all of my bidding until the last day.
wait we find out july 13? that's much better than i had originally thought (i thought august 1st).

if i don't get LR i'm definitely leaving.
that's what it said in the instruction packet or e-mail, so I guess it's true.

Ehh, don't sweat it, I'm sure the committee isn't going to expect you to know every little detail of the instructions packet...

Too bad it's not like the writing section of the LSAT where you can just draw a picture that represents the prompt and it's acceptable

So, it pains me to announce, I am finished. Sadly, I wrote the entire thing today. Hopefully, the "satisfactory" bar is not very high. This is likely some god awful writing. I read over it, convinced myself its not *that* bad, and prayed to the grade-on gods that this is acceptable work, as it would be not only ridiculous but super embarrassing to not make it because I didn't put in "satisfactory" effort. FWIW, though I did read everything in advance, take little notes, outline, and highlight but still...writing is definitely my weak point. Ironic I'm doing journals, eh? Anywho, to all who are working still, good luck! To those who are finished, we're done!!! :D

Just sent mine in. I'm not even sure if it was coherent at this point. I really hated not being able to use what I had already learned from Crim Pro since I had to stick to the cases they gave us, but oh well (It was a Fourth Amendment search topic).

I figured that if I just showed that I could arrange information, argue a point and consistently cite when writing it would be enough for my writing. However, I did spend a lot of time on the actual citations and on the BB test.

I guess I should check in here. I've got about two weeks left until the deadline. Zero motivation, and my increasing desire to transfer is killing any motivation that I muster up.

You're at BC right? I apologize for what is probably the worst thing I've ever written in my life.

I have absolutely no motivation to do this at all.

Does every school extend offers via phone call? We find out next Sunday between the hours of 12-4pm. We essentially have to wait by the phone and be available to speak to them and accept or decline the invitation. No doubt every time it rings I will have a mini heart attack.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Lol. Been almost 10 days since it was due. After waiting 6 weeks for grades, zero fucks are given about the write on verdict. Also, I really need to get more patient at waiting for things. A case at my summer firm was initially filed in 2004, and they're still waiting for oral argument for the first appeal. This profession is not kind to the impatient.

That's ... weird.

We just found out via email, I assume.

I'm in the same boat. I have to review my bluebooking before I even start it and I just don't want to do that right now.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
