cant....seem....to...focus...on....write-on.

its due at the end of the day, and i have 4.5 pages written (out of the required 5-8 pages), but every sentence i write, i take a 10 minute break. this will take forever.

If I get on to Law Review and a secondary journal, is it a douche move to withdraw from secondary journal? Or do I sacrifice entire life to work on both next year?

I can only hope I end up in such a situation, but just curious.

Done! Not quite as early as you though. I pretty much pushed it to the wire, and I'm still not satisfied. Pretty sure I screwed up some of the formatting stuff. O well.....IT'S OVER!! I'm a million times happier about this being over than I was about the last exam

Due Wens. I have some stuff written, but, it's a disaster. I just need to sit down and focus, and hopefully get a decent draft, but I'm going to need a full day for citation stuff, a full day for editing and another full day for the citations in my paper. I don't really have that many days... so, fail on my part.

ha, +1 to not having enough days to do everything that needs to be done. i guess that's my bad though, considering we had like 3 weeks to do this thing...

ive surprisingly made some headway in the last few hours thankfully. debating just calling it a night and restarting in the morning or staying up for another hour or two.

EDIT: 12 point new courier is ridiculous. i'm way, way over the page limit.

Kidding (sorta). But seriously, the write-one was the only part of 1L year that lived up to the law-school-is-torture hype. That was a horrible experience. Ours was 7 days to write 15 pages - bluebook citations (parentheticals, signals, the whole ordeal).

I finally have a draft written. It's far from good, but, at this point something is a hellofva lot better than nothing. So, today will be spent perfecting said draft and the citations within it, and tomorrow is the additional citation exercises. Then... FREEDOM. On the bright side, I know like three people, all with very good grades (but who aren't a shoe-in for law review) that have decided not to participate. So, this is good.
