How does anyone else think they did or how the test was? People walked out 1 hour in and I can't imagine how they could have done more than just guess. I'm a very fast reader and I was only on question 40-something at the 60 minute mark.
i left after an hour but i probably overstudied - did Kaplan practice exams as well as BarBri as I had them both for free.

I also left early in the MBE. i find with Multiple choice I do worse when I overthink questions and change my answers!

I did too. Thank goodness, it would have sucked if I failed the MPRE after passing the bar

Glad I passed. Figured if I failed, I'd study hard next time. Glad that was avoided. Got a 102. Don't know how.

114. Definitely wasn't expecting that. Thought I passed, but marginally. Cheers to all the MPRE passers!

Passed with a 114. I'm pleased, obviously, especially because I left the exam feeling slightly nervous. I didn't think I would fail exactly, but I was uncomfortable with the number of answers I had to guess.

For the benefit of future examinees: my preparation began on the Monday before the exam (a Saturday morning) when I signed up for the Barbri review course. I watched the videos sporadically for the next few days, trying to memorize anything that was not (a) obvious or (b) drilled into me from PR. On the Friday, I did about 50 practice questions. Finally, I read the relevant Model Rules and their associated commentaries. It's common sense for the most part, but there are a few wrinkles you need to be familiar with.

Last piece of advice: don't write this thing the August after the bar, get it out of the way sooner.

Also passed! 120 here.

Did anyone else think the score report was confusing and looked fake? Took me a minute to actually figure out my score...

For future reference: half-watched the Barbri videos, then did all the Barbri questions and about half the Themis questons. The questions were definitely helpful. Overall spent around 15 hours studying during the week precedng the exam.

I passed with a 111.

I'm grateful that people told me to take it seriously. Its much easier than the bar, but not easy enough to not study.

Having said that, I didn't put in that much time, I think I studied for about a week, maybe a week and a half. I read through most of the Barbri outline (I think I skipped the judicial part, and maybe conflicts). I watched all of the videos, and I did a lot of the practice questions.

I would recommend the Barbri course. The practice questions were almost exactly like the exam questions.

Just an FYI, even if you're out of law school and already have taken the bar, the Barbri course/materials are free. I paid $15 shipping, but that was about it.

To everyone reading who didn't pass, don't worry. I didn't study like I should have (every year TLS gives the false advice that all you need to do is watch a video), and I didn't pass either the first time.

The next time around I took it seriously and did the Themis MPRE prep course. I scored 26 points higher after studying. So don't sweat this bump in the road and just do a prep course before the next test date. The courses are all free, too.
