Look 0L, you're going to a professional school. How do you think professionals treat each other in the workplace? When you're in a law firm, the partners will call you Mr. xx if they want to be addressed as Mr. xx. Otherwise, you call them by their first name. Professors mainly expect the same thing, and if they don't they're either like 80 or they are DBs who love the power.
A school setting is different from a work setting. You ought to address a Professor as Professor [insert name] unless you know they prefer something different. Some professors will not care one way or the other, but some will, so why piss them off?
I think it's degrading act of submission to address someone formally unless they do the same for me. Some people don't mind subordination so much, and to each her/his own. If I'm going to compromise my principles I better be getting paid for it.
lol.

Nah, there's still a chance the sarcasm would get missed and it would then inadvertently degrade his principles.

Go the other direction OP. Don't even do a first name; make up a funny nickname and try to get others on board to make it stick.

This thread might be the most outlandish thing I have read since entering this hell hole.

The debates over the most obvious minute ridiculous things to somehow elucidate you as the superior thinker make me want to run far far away from anything that ever even looked like a law school. You are the absolute worst that humanity has to offer.

But on a serious note, do you guys think IQ, GPA, and your Lsat score are correlated?

The strongest correlation connects raw hours of reading supplements in the 6 weeks directly prior to 1L orientation to BL partnership.

You can call him or her professor, as long as you use air quotes when doing so.

Are you going to a large firm? I think getting comfortable with degrading acts of submission in law school could be useful.
