Re: Did I fail the MPRE?
Well, that went much better than my last bout with an LSAC test (LSAT)...
Was worried about passing. Got a 134.
Studied 5 hrs a day for a week. Should probably have just done one day...lol.

Same. What a complete waste of my time. I think a high score means I'm not as smart as my peers since I failed to budget my time efficiently.

Seriously though, I wish I would have spent that time playing video games or watching football or something...

Re: Did I fail the MPRE?
didn't study, got an 82. should i ask to be rescored? Ugh...annoying. Oh well. I'm telling myself this is likely because of one question i missed. Im in an 85 jurisdiction, at least i can tell myself that I could be lawyering in most of the states that dont really matter too much ('sides jersey)

Also got a 99. Did the BarBri lecture/outline and a handful of practice tests.
Left the exam room thinking I failed (I'm not normally "one of those people.") That test was tricky.
I'm glad I didn't listen to some of my friends who assured me I didn't have to study at all to pass.

Good call as my firm requests that score for 3L hiring and new grad laterals. Some ethics push the management committee wantsNeff wrote:Got a 94. WTF that's below median. Going to retake.

Re: Did I fail the MPRE?
Well it happened. I failed it for the required score in my jurisdiction.
I studied for it too--reviewed the BarBri video, did practice questions, and read over the entire outline. Do not know what happened.
People were telling me that only the dumbest of the dumb fail the MPRE.
Am I completely screwed out of becoming an attorney?

Yep. Forever. Until you pass it in February or whenever it's offered next. Nobody gives a shit. Just pass it and be more ethical.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
