if you decide to stick around after fall semester 2L, youmight as well stick around till the end.... if you know law isn't for you, gun like hard to get into a jd preferred area- and try to use your rising 3L summer to gain experience there.

OP--struck out at OCI, shocker. Top 25 law school, LR, just above median, but grades going up. Prestigious UG with good grades but useless major.
Looking for suggestions on how to get JD-preferred positions/policy work/possible consulting

I'm confused. Why is DA work such a remote possibility? From what I understand, those gigs aren't very grade sensitive. Or are you just not interested in that anymore?

What constitutes a 2nd tier consulting firm? Could you PM additional information?
Has anyone had success getting into consulting due to poor grades?

Why so? As Spanish Man pointed out, you don't need top 10% to get a DA gig. You just have to hustle unless you lost interest of course.Wanderlust89 wrote: Further, chances of getting work in a DA's office seems like a distant possibility at this point.
