I believe race shouldn't be a factor in admissions in any scenario(shocker, white kid here), but instead it should be socio-economic status. I wouldn't be helped in that system either, but I find it off putting that a rich URM from a privileged background will have a much better chance of getting in than a dirt poor white kid(or less impressive URM than AA).

Socio-economic status cannot be separated from race. Maybe one day. Not today though.

I believe racism should be a factor so that minorities can make in-roads into traditionally white, male professions. Shocker, white kid who can see past the end of her own fucking nose.

I think we should only admit white students, and then give a set amount of URM candidates a roster and they get to choose whose spot they take.
