Sierra Nevada Celebration is meh for seasonal brews. Try Deschutes Jubelale or New Belgium 1554.

I can't stand that Sierra Nevada. Anything by Deschutes is top-notch. Especially Jubelale, it's very, very good.

What kind of brew is Jubelale? IPA? Stout? Porter? I'm intrigued.

It's a medium-strong ale. It's fantastic. Possibly my favorite seasonal beer ever.

Everything New Belgium does it good. Hoptoberfest may be my favorite beer.

If you ever get a chance, tour their brewery in Fort Collins, CO. It's basically the coolest place in the world.

If you can find it, anything from Ninkasi Brewing in Eugene, OR. If you are blessed to be near a respectable bottle shop, their Tricerahops Double IPA is my favorite. Their Sleigh'r ain't bad, either.

Bell's is so good/underrated. Founders, too, if we're gonna rock the Michigan micros. Gotta go with the dark stuff in the winter.

I just actually went to their brewery a few weeks ago over Thanksgiving break. Good stuff. I highly suggest getting a six pack of their Christmas Ale.

Sam Adams Winter Pack. The Fezziwig Ale is just the tops.

I will second this. The only one in that I don't like is that Cranberry Lambic crap. That stuff is nasty.

But I don't usually try to "get drunk" so to speak when I drink, and usually drink the darker, heavier beers.

Fat Tire is a good one.

This is one of the finest beers you'll ever have. Don't worry about the price, you don't need more than one... it'll stick with you.
