I'm pretty sure I forgot how to outline. I'm trying to start copyright, and I have no idea where to begin.

You'll get back into the swing of it.snowpeach06 wrote:I'm pretty sure I forgot how to outline. I'm trying to start copyright, and I have no idea where to begin.
My biggest problem is teaching myself all the shit I missed due to CBs.

Same. I am completely miserable right now. This is another lesson to 0Ls choosing schools. If I'd been doing callbacks right next to my school, this would have been a much less painful process.Grizz wrote:You'll get back into the swing of it.snowpeach06 wrote:I'm pretty sure I forgot how to outline. Yeah seriously. I missed basically a month of class due to CBs. Most of which were a couple days counting travel.dailygrind wrote:Same. I am completely miserable right now. I just finished most of Admin. Next up, Secured Transactions, followed by Bankruptcy, followed by a quasi fluff course. Course selection was a strategic blunder this semester.

I think I can teach myself sales in like a week. Not sure if it'll work or not but I just want a B. I just started paying attention in this class last week for the first time in the entire semester and lol'ed when I realized how many UCC statute numbers I absolutely do not know.keg411 wrote:lol secured transactions.

I'm partially glad I took the class because I think it actually teaches stuff that is useful IRL for corporate work (and the commercial paper part is on the bar anyway), but it also has the reputation of being the "hardest class in the law school" for a reason.

That, I did not know. I'm starting it today. This promises to be unpleasant.keg411 wrote:Loaded up on Emanuels today <3.keg411 wrote:lol secured transactions.

DG, I don't know if that's across the board or just at Mich.

I thought Fed Courts was unanimously considered the hardest class around.

yeah that's what I've heard. A combo of the material itself and the students who take it.BarbellDreams wrote:I thought Fed Courts was unanimously considered the hardest class around.

Hopefully just at Mich. It looks to be difficult here, but not next level insanity difficult.keg411 wrote:DG, I don't know if that's across the board or just at Mich.

Hoping to get done with my increasingly bad note before Thanksgiving (journal-imposed deadline is shortly thereafter) so I can at least pretend to start working for exams. Going from ~7 weeks of exam prep both 1L semesters to 2.5 weeks 2L Fall semester should be... interesting.
Fingers crossed all the 3Ls in my classes just give no more fucks.

Was typing on my phone before, so I couldn't flesh it out... but I'm 99.9% sure it's just the reputation at Mich and it's just because of the prof.dailygrind wrote:Hopefully just at Mich. In general, I've heard FedCourts and Sec Reg also as being some of the objectively most difficult classes.

yeah I feel most secure in the classes where there are a bunch of 3Ls
I am making progress on my T&E outline...I wanted to be caught up by tonight but that is not happening.
my biggest concern is my tax outline bc it just takes SO LONG to outline tax. I really wanted all my outlines to be done by thanksgiving break...I have a week..so maybe I can do it. But my god. This is so painful. I make a study schedule every day to make myself feel better about how I have enough time and will be just fine, but as the days go by, schedule making is causing more anxiety than comfort. I cant believe next week is thanksgiving. ahhhhhh.

Re: 2L exam prep thread
officially half way done with my t&e outline...will probably try finishing up on it tomorrow and then switching over to tax for the next 2 days. so much crap to do
in awesome news, my mom cooked a months worth of food and froze it for me so that I could study without worrying about cooking/feeding myself and my husband. <3 my mom.

Same, I'm basically going to include a note to my ME saying, "Sorry, but getting a job and grades are way more important than writing a good note. It's my understanding that pretty much every note gets a gentleman's A/A+ and my clerking aspirations are pretty much out the window at this point. If I had a choice, you wouldn't have to read my 45 pages of non-sequiturs." My note looks like a bad wikipedia article; half the propositions' footnotes just say 'cite needed'.Green Crayons wrote:Hoping to get done with my increasingly bad note before Thanksgiving (journal-imposed deadline is shortly thereafter) so I can at least pretend to start working for exams.
