Thanks for the responses. You all have helped frame my approach. I think i'm going to approach it as an academic discussion. To be honest, I care about getting my grade changed but its not the end of the world (fyi, 3L and this is my worst grade in law school).

If your civil procedure professor teaches you that Pennoyer v. Neff and Swift v. Tyson are still the law of the land, you must apply that law on the exam. The professor is always right.

If my professor told me the sky is yellow and then asked on an exam what color the sky is if I listed any other color than yellow I'd be wrong.

Every piece of advice I've ever heard regarding exams has drove this home for me.
