Thanks for the responses. You all have helped frame my approach. I think i'm going to approach it as an academic discussion. To be honest, I care about getting my grade changed but its not the end of the world (fyi, 3L and this is my worst grade in law school).

If my professor told me the sky is yellow and then asked on an exam what color the sky is if I listed any other color than yellow I'd be wrong.
