I have Bose for plane trips, Senns for walking around/library, Skull Candy for skiing/running (their in-ear buds are great for skiing, if they fit you right) and Sony MDRs for in the recording studio. (The Sonys are my favorite. I love them.)
(I swear by those Bose for planes, btw. Other situations, not so much - agree about the bass/sound quality - but to block jet noise? Fantastic.)

They are not.

But regardless, they seem to be out of your price range.

Beyerdynamic DT770

They sound killer, and they are like wearing velvet pillows on your ears.

BUT: they cost 200. (you can get them for about 100 if you know the right person/sale.)

Ultrasone HPs are killer also. These ones sound amazing for the price.
