Re: 1L grade waiting thread
Add to the fun by estimating what your grades were. I'd love to see how in-line people's expectation of their grades are with their actual grades.
CivPro: A-
Torts: A(+) I guessed what the essay question was and outlined it in advance. Almost sure I booked the class.
Contracts: B-
LegReg: B/who the fuck knows
LWRAP: B+
Total: 3.38

I have this sinking feeling of pure median in everything I've done so far

Re: 1L grade waiting thread
We had a discussion at lunch yesterday where we put a price on having all of our grades at that very moment. My one friend went up to 115, but I'm not sure where I would fall. Try to play that game with yourselves, or in this thread, or with your friends. I also refuse to predict my grades because I'll undoubtedly be pessimistic, still over shoot them, and become despondent.

Re: 1L grade waiting thread
It freaking sucked balls. They claim LR was a 1 credit hour class and LW was only a 2 credit hour class, but they together took more time than the other 4 classes combined. I had 3 graded memos this semester and I felt like I was gonna die by the time I finished the last one.

Yes! Something else to obsess over! Our grades come back January 10, and with 3 finals down and 1 to go, I honestly wouldn't be surprised with straight As or straight Cs. Seriously, seriously, seriously hoping I'm not below median.

I would trade them off any friggen day for a substantive course. The last 17 page memo was just hell to write.yesyesyes wrote:yea i'm pretty jealous. i had 6, and 2 weren't legal research and writing.kalvano wrote:Glad someone else had 6 classes.evilxs wrote:Civil Procedure: A+

Thank you for the lol I just had.skoobily doobily wrote: My resume for summer jobs will state "Grades not available upon request, or at any other time"
I predict I will be safely below median. I am already thinking of how I will either...
(a) drop out and find some kind of job that will enable me to pay down the loans from 1 semester of law school
(b) spin the hell out of shitty grades come interview season

I feel confident I will pass.
However, they did say no one fails. Here's to hoping I don't prove them wrong.

I'm right there with you...I just refuse to see how anyone did not spot the same issues as I or did not catch more. Granted, I have one final left...torts...but I'm not banking on it. *heavy sigh*dakatz wrote:I have this sinking feeling of pure median in everything I've done so far

Some would say I am pessimistic but who really knows about these law school exams. You feel good about them but then you think of things that you missed and then its just despair and anxious waiting...Rand M. wrote:damnDoritos wrote:Thank you for the lol I just had.skoobily doobily wrote: My resume for summer jobs will state "Grades not available upon request, or at any other time"

Guessing that
Crim: A-
Contracts: B- (Actually, it was so good that I just decided not to do the last question...guessing that's gonna cost me 2/3 of a letter grade here)
Torts: Haven't taken it yet, but confident in B+/A- range.
