Do you know anything about where to figure out how many you need (approximately) to get a certain score?
Hmmm...so I guess getting 40 out of 60 right should put me at ease. For some reason it is the night before the exam and I am starting to become concerned that I need to put in a long long day tomorrow.

Seriously, don't do that.I'm waking up at 6 to study
Well of course. Think about it. If you had to be "average" to pass, 1/2 of law school students couldn't become lawyers due to the MPRE. Almost everybody passes the MPRE.The thing that boggles my mind the most, is that the average score is allegedly a 90 on the scale, yet the mean score is around a 100. By that information, if you are "below average" you are golden.

Here is another site to look at for practice exams: http://www.rongolini.com/mpre/mpreexams.htm
Grad are you waking up tomorrow (Thur) at 6 or the day of the exam at 6?

Re: MPRE on Friday
I got the 40/60 on a Barbri practice exam, but I assume those are kind of like the real ones. I did find this link...
--LinkRemoved--
Where they state these %ages to get a given score....November 2005 test
For the November 2005 MPRE, these standards
required the following percent correct scores:
75 48%
77 50%
79 51%
80 52%
85 53%
86 54%

Granted those numbers were from 2005 and I assume they are credible based on the article, but who knows? It is funny how the MPRE is this big unknown but the Bar Exam is the end all. When I tell people this is one of two exams you have to pass to practice they are so puzzled.

I'm with Grad in that everyone keeps telling me to stop studying. It's not that big of a deal. You only need 3 hours, but I don't want to take it twice. So if I need to put in a few extra hours I'm ok with it. I don't want to be the one person to not pass the MPRE lolGrad_Student wrote:I don't want to take it twice and I have things to do in the afternoonnealric wrote:Seriously, don't do that.I'm waking up at 6 to study

Wow 54% seems so low! And yeah, I would definitely put in more time since I have never heard of anyone failing this. I would not want to be the one person. Hopefully I am in good shape since I am doing above 55% on the Kaplan tests, but going to try other exams just to be sure.sdhockey09 wrote:I got the 40/60 on a Barbri practice exam, but I assume those are kind of like the real ones. Re: MPRE on Friday
Is anyone else annoyed that we have to provide a passport sized picture? And then they don't even tell us what the picture is for? Maybe it's just me but I gained about 50lbs in my passport photo, and unlike Queen Latifah I don't look good a little chunkier.

I tried signing up for themis review but it started saying prices and I got scared. Looks like I'll just stick to adding up my own score.

lol I just had to talk another friend through it. It does say prices but you go throughout the process and at some point it will say it's free and you never have to put in a CC. Themis also uses real past MPRE test questions.lishi wrote:I tried signing up for themis review but it started saying prices and I got scared. Looks like I'll just stick to adding up my own score.

Yeah it asks for my billing info. It's ok. I'll stick with my BarBri practice tests.

Quickly: Attorney works for EPA. He tries a case against Deft. Attorney leaves the EPA. Deft hires Attorney to defend them against Beta. Can Attorney take the case? ..I'm thinking yes because it wasn't material or substantially similar

I would say yes because it doesn't pose a conflict to the former client because he was the former client. What is the answer?

Sorry I didn't mean former client above, but I think you understood what I meant. I can go into detail if you want?
I'll probably be there early do some last minute studying and then try to walk in around 8:30/8:45
