Is this the promised end?
I hope people stay obsessed and we turn collaborative energy to the fall job search in the employment forum.
Otherwise, many thanks to TLS for its resources and for putting up with my grumpiness.

How could we be anything but? And you have never, ever been grumpy. Snarky I will grant, but pitch perfect at that.disco_barred wrote:Is this the promised end?

Guy, I don't really think you should be banned but aren't you on the verge right now? Posting randomly in a law student good luck thread sure to be crawling w/ mods isn't the best idea, eh?D. Thanks OS, g'luck to you as well. TLS has been better since you've shown up and I'm sure Fordham has as well. Law school as a whole has been an incredible experience, and I've loved almost every minute of it (except for finals... we started on Monday so I'm now just two exams away from freedom). As far as the experience goes, I hope yours continues to be what you make of it. Assuming I stay on as a board member of LST next year while I'm in Chile, you might be hearing from me to help nudge Fordham a little. I think we're getting more coverage in the huffpost next week so hopefully we can keep things going.
And to all those in the middle of finals waiting to see what it feels like once you get out, here's a sort-of appropriate video from Nashville. Ignore, for the moment, the fact that Dierks Bentley never (to my knowledge) spent time in a Mexican prison.

To my dear friend and one time mentor in school trolling: Congrats on your upcoming graduation, and on Chile! If I can help, I will. I know my school has nothing to hide, though I'll be happy when NYC firms are hiring again (and so will everyone else!)observationalist wrote:Thanks OS, g'luck to you as well. Re: Encouragement and good luck thread
No mentions in huffpost yet... hoping for that to come through next week. So far everything's been in either legal industry press (NLJ, AmLaw daily, ABA Journal, and ATL) or the blogosphere. Seeing as our audience is not only the legal profession but prospective students, and many of them will have no idea what the ABA is until coming to law school, it'll be nice to get the word out through more general media (especially the kind of sites which college students read, since they make up a huge portion of the uninformed prospective law student base).OperaSoprano wrote:To my dear friend and one time mentor in school trolling: Congrats on your upcoming graduation, and on Chile! I've been drowning in negativity for so long that I'm having an allergic reaction to all of this goodwill. Thank you OS.
