Re: Getting a headstart
Learning black letter law is easy as shit, and if you need more than 15 weeks to learn a class' worth, then you have bigger problems on your plate. Why don't you spend your downtime learning other shit that will make you a more well-rounded and interesting person to talk to? Forming good relationships with professors is key for LoRs, which are key for a whole host of other things. And law profs aren't going to find correcting mistaken black letter law that you gleaned from some tier4 E & E all that interesting..
Do, however, read "Getting to Maybe" before matriculating.

Like Betasteve, I am in the top 5% and telling you that there is no reason to do prep. I understand you are anxious. You probably think about law school all the time. You have all this free time now and in a few months you won't have any at all...why not spend that time studying? But it really is just not worth it. Just do other stuff. It won't help, theres even a chance it might hurt. I tried to prep over winter break for this semester - it was completely worthless. I had to read all the stuff over after the classes started.
But hey, you seem to know more about law school than those of us who are here (and doing well...im first in my class), so why not do it. If you were going to do it anyways, why ask?

In this sort of vein, would LEEWS be worth the time, prior to law school?solidsnake wrote:Do, however, read "Getting to Maybe" before matriculating.
