First grade in is a B+

Have an SA, was top 5-10% last year and was thinking of clerking, but not committed to it. A B+ is really a "tie;" I'm not happy nor am I really upset. If the rest of my grades come in at B+ (3 out of 4 of my classes were 100 people classes curved in same way as 1L) or worse my chances at clerking will probably be done, but I honestly might be happier if I don't need to go through that process.

Never felt so emotionless one way or the other over a grade in 1L.

Edit: Unfortunately I sort of felt the best about this class. The others were either really hard or filled with PI/clerkship gunners.

Checking in now, but we won't get grades for a few weeks still. Got a job though, so this shit doesn't matter anyway. Taking Accounting for Lawyers and Fed Tax and I'm terrible with numbers - should be a fun semester.

Thanks, it's been a long and scary saga. In house at an upcoming pharma/biotech compliance firm. Their work is split 50% doing in house work, and then a bunch of their clients forward their billable legal work so I get to do that too. High chance it'll turn into a job offer at graduation too. Not a traditional path, but I'm excited about it.

Not too bad, I'm happy with my A+ in Con Law II. One more semester to go. Yay.

(Disclosure: I'm a 3L but there was no other forum to post in for 3L grades, probably because nobody really cares anymore about grades as this point, right?)

I went to First Amendment physically, but mentally I caught up on world news, surfed EBay, etc. I made a B+, so I didn't get beaten too badly.

Seriously. I've been scoping out the grade curves since day 1 here. Still couldn't get into all of those classes though. I need to be better at that .

I was more thinking that 2L's would care less, making the curve easier. This was almost the opposite of true for 3/4 of my classes .
