My school does not do a 4.0 gpa, rather strictly grades on a 100pt scale (also does not equate a number to a letter). 5 out of 6 grades are in (All classes are curved to an 82 MEDIAN).

Torts: 85
Civ Pro: 87
Property: 90
Contracts: 92
Criminal: 93
Leal Writing: not in yet

My average is a 89.6 right now, but hoping to boost it to 90 with my LRW grade.

What do you all think 90 is equivalent to on a 4.0 scale (I know there isn't really a good way to equate it) and where do you think I will fall percentage wise in my class? I'm trying to gauge my chances at law review as well as my rank for job purposes.

Thanks in advance!

Hard to equate your system to a regular system. However, assuming an 80 is a B or B-, you have a 2.67 - 3.1 curve. Assuming a 90 is an A or A-, your GPA translation would probably fall in the mid to upper 3 range. With that said, Rad Law is correct when he asks you to check with your school. If your school gives rankings or percentile cut offs, those are much more useful than a GPA. Employers care about the school reputation and how you did compared to the other students at your school.

Yes, you put your number, and next to it you put what the next highest cutoff is. So, let's say you have a 90.75. You'd say:

GPA: 90.75 (Top 15% = 90.85)

I believe that's how I read it in the CSO resume instructions and examples. Also, thanks again for the ride home. I froze my ass off walking to school today.
FWIW, the thing CSO sent out says to only do that when you're outside the top 1/3, since WUSTL doesn't rank past that. If you're top 1/3 or better, put down the category you fall in - e.g. GPA: 90.75 (Top 20% = 90.1), if top 15% = 90.85
Can someone give me the link where this information is posted please?

A-

I don't have to /self.
Showing off your good grades but not disclosing the bad ones? Not cool.
Why? He can share whatever he wants, and keep his bad news private if he wants. This isn't an AA meeting.

We're off. I went home for the weekend since I had my interview on Friday. Going out with friends tomorrow to get blitzed and hopefully watch the Jets not embarrass themselves against the Pats.

I've already decided to get bombed after my grades come out. I'll either be happy-as-fuck drunk, or depressed-drunk... luckily both will lead to blackouts.

I was drunk by the time grades came out. Had to re-check them in the morning to make sure I saw them right.
