I did all the barbri review material and read the outline. 52/60 on the one practice exam I did. Left feeling pretty concerned.

I felt the same way. Got 51/60 and 45/60 on the Barbri practice exams, but I had to make educated guesses on quite a few. I felt like the questions and especially the answer choices were of a higher degree of difficulty.

Then again, I went with my gut on a lot of practice questions too so hopefully it turns out alright.

Glad everyone else thought that was significantly harder than the Barbri practice questions. Hopefully there's a generous curve. There were a lot of them where I was able to confidently rule out two, but couldn't decide between the other two.

I haven't kept up with this thread but for anyone wondering about scores, I took my exam on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 and received my score on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015.

Re: PTs - a lot of the people sharing scores thus far did better than I did on PTs. It's important to keep in mind that based on all the historical data we have, that you can miss A LOT of questions and still be 86+. IIRC and 86 was something like 54% correct on at least one administration. Therefore if you were hitting ~62% or above consistently (or had recently trended towards ~62%+) then you're in a good spot, and heck, unless there's a been quite a change you might even be good with less than that (especially if you don't need 86), I just say that to be safe and these numbers are based on a more stringent curve. The real point is that even if you did miss a swarm of questions, you can still easily have passed and so long as you get whatever point threshold matters to you, then you're good and it's not like a higher score would have changed anything.

For today's test I personally felt like at least part of the difficulty came from some odd answer choices that I hadn't encountered during my prep as they seemed to come at the "right" answer from a really weird angle. I recognized the ethical situation and knew "a" answer to the question, but it wasn't there, so it was a string of the ole' "ok so which of these is way more complicated than necessary but still correct" moments.

On an unrelated note, I had some really good waffles.

Thanks for the update, imo, waffles are far better discussion than the MPRE.

Now to decide what to do with my despised beloved Barbri book.

Ugh it's 2am here, late drinking doesn't work well for me anymore, at least I gain an hour!

And yeah, I probably won't either but since it has no resale value (unlike LSAT books) I might be a madman and recycle it early.
