So I haven't been able to find anyone in real life that agrees with me but does anyone else think exams are kind of fun?

Congrats - that is so awesome!Bless wrote:Got my Torts grade back today and it's an Athrilled and definitely humbled by that, seriously. Not so sure any of my other grades will be that pretty, but it's a good start.

Yeah, I think they are. Of course, it would be a lot easier to enjoy them if there wasn't so much riding on them.AreJay711 wrote:So I haven't been able to find anyone in real life that agrees with me but does anyone else think exams are kind of fun?

The curve is what will save your ass. If exams were graded on a traditional scale, grades would be really scary.BackToTheOldHouse wrote:Taking exams might be fun. I actually enjoy the experience for about an hour and a half. Unfortunately exams are like those movies that after coming to an adequate conclusion decide another hour of film would vastly improve the experience. Those movies (and all of my exams) are wrong. So wrong.AreJay711 wrote:Haha well it is nice to know I'm not alone.Flash wrote:I do. Re: 1L Fall Grade Waiting Thread
Another person who probably got a C in Contracts. I have never been bludgeoned by an exam like I was today. Wow.
Not only did I miss VERY OBVIOUS ISSUES, but I didn't write in the style my professor likes (because I couldn't fit in everything else I was talking about), plus I'm pretty sure I calculated the damages wrong in 2 questions despite drilling damages into my head all semester, plus my essay was disorganized because I was trying to organize it the way my professor wanted, but gave up when I realized I couldn't and left it a complete mess when time was called, plus I'm sure she didn't like the way I answered the short answer questions.
I'm just miserable. Been drinking nonstop and basically not hanging out with my family despite being home. Ugh. What the hell happened this morning. I BOMBED Contracts. Watch my GPA die.

You guys are making me so nervous about contracts next semester. I think I'm going to start some of the reading over break and start the e&e ahead of time.

1) Why I hate this class and it kicked my but; OR
2) Hey check out this sweet grade I got.
You probably aren't getting great balance. I actually really liked contracts. I don't know what grade I got, but it felt pretty good. On the other hand, my guess is that the curve is going to kick my butt in torts.

Had a nightmare that I had forgotten to study for property today. Woke up, and it was a good five minutes before I remembered how stupid I was being. I'm home, and Property wasn't even my last exam. Hoping to be only having Skyrim dreams soon.

Re: 1L Fall Grade Waiting Thread
It's not quite Gears of War, but I've been playing SNES and N64 games (using emulators) that I found online. I might be destined for median and a career chasing ambulances and avoiding debt collectors, but dammit if I'm not a champ at Killer Instinct on SNES.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
