Had a major brief fail today (due to letting my laptop power run out while doing a fruitless bluebook search). Lost three hours worth of good work

I generally can tolerate reading for my classes, except for torts. I've been sitting here for an hour and I have gotten through . . . 3 pages. I keep looking for distractions and finding them.

I'm taking off spring break, relaxing my mind. As soon school gets back again. I'm going to start killing outlines.

+1. But I actually DO have finals starting in 1 week. Really should've paid attention in Con Law, Property and Evidence this quarter, instead of shopping on GiltMan.

Is Giltman worth it? Or is it just a robbery/scam/spam thing?

Pulled up a canned brief just now and saw an ad for University of Nebraska's Space Law program. Had a good laugh.

Probably not for me then. I'm too cheap and too broke.

My brief is 100% of my grade and due a week Tuesday. I have about 2 paragraphs written. I'm pretty sure I need around 16 pages.

Got an A- in LRW last semester and fully expect a C- this semester after the god awful brief I handed in.

My LRW is curved high, so pretty much everyone does well. But I really want to get an A. Brief is worth 50% of grade (I think), so I have my fingers crossed. The high curve for LRW at my school is a blessing and a curse. Sure, it makes it so you are very likely to end up with a good grade, but it also makes it much harder to distinguish yourself because the absolute best students in the class only get one grade higher than the majority of students. And of course that last notch up is the hardest to get.

1. Apparently I suck at legal research and can't find a single case that says an owner of an apartment building didn't discriminate.
2. I literally don't understand a single thing in Civ Pro. I can't tell if it's because i'm not trying or what. I need my e&e to get here.

Sign up for Barbri. Go to First Year lectures (or 1L lectures; I forget what it's called). It's in 6 parts. Find the ones you've done so far and listen away
