Please bump again in Feb. TYIA.
You bet champ!
Law school has her teeth in me for at least one more semester. Sorry, TSL

Since there are several similar questions on the front page, I thought I'd give this a friendly bump.

Exams are done, anti-anxety duty is over. Welcome to the law school 1Ls, you've seen some shit.
This thread is an oldie but a goodie and still contains very relevant advice.
Merry Christmas.

I'm going to admit that I'm one of those weirdos that finds law school exciting. Maybe that's why I'm newly single.

I have to say I don't agree.
Law school is a good investment. The starting pay is higher than a police officer. IMO that makes it worth it.
Plus being a lawyer still has a nice ring to it, rolls off the tongue better than "ditch digger" or "plumber."

What starting pay? BLS estimates there are THOUSANDS fewer entry level legal jobs than there are graduating lawyers.

Those are just two reasons why going to law school is a good investment; my reasons.

Flying to Hollywood is a good investment because you get to fuck Megan Fox.

2L here. OP's thread is making more and more sense and I'm glad I'm realizing it as a 2L. My 2L SA firm just revoked my offer because the firm is going under. I remember when I had the "I'll work hard and be in the top 10%." Well, even at a top tiered school, top 25% is not enough.
But I won't drop out. I have little debt and my family is filled with lawyers. But I don't want to be a lawyer anymore. I'm pursuing a mid-20s career change. Picking up the pieces of my software engineering degree and getting certified in multiple programming languages. Top-ten in-demand job in America. I'll patent all my code strings.
Think long and hard everyone.

I cant imagine saddling the large amount of debt it takes for so many. As you said that isn't a issue for you which means law school isn't "as much of a risk."
But for those into the 6 figures, NO WAY!

Im strongly considering eating the small late payment fee for my spring tuition bill to wait until my fall grades come back. Its such a scam that our tuition is due before prof grades are.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
