Re: The write-on thread
After completing one citation (out of 25) in the bluebooking exercise I am ready to kill myself. It took 75 minutes and had 23 errors (that I caught). What the fuck is this shit?

Re: The write-on thread
Nothing too fancy. Every little detail was wrong though (it's the same for numbers 2 and 3). Unless of course I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, which is a definite possibility. That or I wound up with a "trick" bluebook.kalvano wrote:What in the hell kind of citation?Geist13 wrote:After completing one citation (out of 25) in the bluebooking exercise I am ready to kill myself. Re: The write-on thread
I definitely prefer doing the production test portion of mine, at least I can have a tv program in the background or something while doing it, unlike reading a packet and writing new material.

Re: The write-on thread
Good lord, mine was 250 pages and it took me 2 days to read and piece together all the materials. It would take me the better part of a week to read that much. I can't understand how they expect you to get through it and come out with something coherent. Good luck.mths wrote:10 dayskaiser wrote:You're kidding me. Re: The write-on thread
goal for this week was to read through the 400+ page packet. due to starting my SA job and being sick all week, i might have read 20? journals are overrated.

250+ pages of referenced materials for the editing portion.
So burnt out. Maybe I don't really want to be on a journal anyway.

This is what I have been doing for the past 9 days, and it was more than I could ask for.

Re: The write-on thread
Jesus what misery, and all so I can come up with some absolute shitpaper to turn in tomorrow. I don't know if I'm gonna finish (people have been dropping out left and right here), and even if I do, I rate my chances of getting on main journal low.
Fuck it. At least I graded on to something.

Reading is the fun part. Just wait till you have to start writing. It's horrible. I can't bring myself to sit down.beach_terror wrote:Okay, time to start this shit for real.
