Fuck studying. Evidence has like two things anyway, right? Character evidence and hearsay (and Daubert in other classes). I should be able to look it up in the room if I bring the rulebook.

I wish my evidence exam was open book. You have no idea.

Copyrights outlines: who has 'em
Willing to supplicate, potentially sell my tender young body seeing as how mine's 25% complete, I'm taking it at 9am tomorrow, and I just finished an 8 hour (count 'em onetwothreefourfivesixseveneight) advanced patents take home that was nothing but policy and for which I had read 25% of the cases covered going in.
Edit: tender young body's off the table since I just found one in the school outline bank but I wouldn't say no to more, since this one could be a supergunner booby trap

+1 to game of thrones. Also, Lost and Dexter are two of my favorites. Warning: Lost might be the most addicting show I've ever watched.Doritos wrote:Eastbound and down. wait, are you suggesting that a gunner may place a "dummy" outline for a class he currently has in an outline bank he has access to and fill it with incorrect information just to throw other people off? shit that would be some epic gunning.stratocophic wrote:Edit: tender young body's off the table since I just found one in the school outline bank but I wouldn't say no to more, since this one could be a supergunner booby trap

Probably not, but it was submitted by "Unknown" and y'all know gunners gon' gun. Turns out it's NBD, professor wrote a nutshell that I forgot I had and it has like 75% of the cases we covered iso I'm straight blazing through readings. CluuuuuuutchNoleinNY wrote:Seriously... WTF? ETA in my delirious state (see e.g. twice as many hours taking exams as sleeping over the past 24 hours) I just really enjoyed the idea of some 5'4 nebbishy kid with coke bottle glasses and thinning hair grinning to himself while steepling his fingers and saying "step into my web, said the spider to the fly" or "and now we wait"

Is 8 hours of studying enough to get through a final exam? We'll find out tomorrow...

Also, here's hoping working enough to complete an outline and doing nothing more is sufficient as well. Gooooood luck to us both

remember how I mentioned I was going to slay my final last night...I lied.
Overwhelming number of issues + too little time + lack of concise outline = diarrhea of analysis splattered all over examsoft.
oh well. fuk it. done with exams, but technically not done with 2L.

About to take my first exam, studied for two days which I felt pretty proud of. Dude in front of me has FOUR cans of diet Dr Pepper. Now I'm going to be distracted the whole exam seeing if he will actually drink all of those in three hours

Taking an exam early today. I was going to use today to study for it but I would just spend it on reddit or playing through Mass Effect 3 for a third time so let's just do this.desertlaw wrote:I'm just going to take last 2 exams in a very rushed manner and chill/day-drink for a few days.JusticeHarlan wrote:Rather than work on my forthcoming finals, I spent the afternoon watching most of the second season of Arrested Development on Hulu.joeshmo39 wrote:I did no work before 5 PM today. Also, this HBO Go business intrigues me. I'm pretty sure everyone in our fine town gets cable from Comcast so I'll have to check this out.

Re: 2L. No motivation
I have never felt more apathetic about exams before in my life. I need to take Antitrust on monday. Haven't started on/looked at an outline, haven't opened the book, and I foresee no possibility of motivating myself at any point today to do so. And the curve is not forgiving at all. I desperately don't want a B or B-...but I just. don't. care.
Plus my a/c is broken and it's stifling inside my apartment, but I'd kill myself before willingly stepping foot inside the law school.

I just finished 14 hours of exams in 23 hours. Had an unscheduled in school 3-hour yesterday afternoon at 1, had an 8-hour take home last night that I didn't finish until 2, then had a 3-hour today at 9am.
This is what happens when you give me the freedom to schedule all but one of my exams.

Re: 2L. No motivation
I still have Con Law to memorize. Damn you, closed-book final with 150,000 cases. I'm feeling pretty good about the understanding part, but there's no way I can memorize all of it. This should be fun.
Also, perusing the internet is way more fun then studying. I like how I think I'll study harder in the law library, but that never happens.

After the exam I took today I made two vows.
First, I will be the best summer associate my firm as ever seen (in case they look at my transcript at some point), and second, I will never look at my transcript again. Ever.

I made them both as well. Except we're looking at the transcripts when we come back for the 10-year reunion. Just to look back and laugh.
