It's been driving me nuts. I want to work much harder since I feel I didn't do much last semester, but I'm torn due to the idiom, "if it's not broke, don't fix it"

He wrote stuff on yours? He wrote absolutely nothing on mine, just underlined a couple of random words that have no significance to me. I'll go talk to him, I'm just nervous because I don't want to look like I'm complaining/whining or something.

I don't know how the grading is at your school, but at a lot of schools, an A+ is the one or two highest grades in the course. Sometimes, there are none even given. B+ is often around median. An adjustment from an A+ to an A? Maybe. But from an A+ to a B+? If your professor has any idea what he's doing at all, it seems practically (and statistically) impossible.

I would agree, but then I can totally see one of my professors doing the exact same thing. Your exam probably didn't go as far down the stairs the second throw.

Then I would go to the prof, ask what I did wrong, and what I need to work on. But even on the unlikely chance that it was an adjustment because of the curve and not a mere mistake, don't expect him to admit that.

I'm doing a little more, only because my crim and torts classes have been replaced with property and con law and from what I've heard, the two are somewhat more difficult than crim and torts. But you killed it man. If I were you I wouldn't make too many changes.

Exact same. If any one tiny thing, maybe, maybe, I'll hit up office hours more just to clear up little things. But, I mean... first semester I worked exactly when I thought it would be productive and stopped working when I felt like it would be counterproductive. So I don't want to do more. It is nice to know how to best allocate my time from the outset though, rather than, say, doing all the reading for legal writing until I realize 4 classes in that we haven't discussed or even remotely analyzed anything from the book for even a split second.
