nah, you're expressing your hatred for writing the paper, that's a surefire sign of nonmotivation.f0bolous wrote:I'm fucking hating my seminar paper rewrite so fucking much. The more I type the more irate I'm getting.

In other news, I went to krispy kreme with a corporate tax study buddy. The 10 minute trip there and the 10 minute trip back consisted of us doing a hypothetical where we formed a 351 corp. and each contributed donuts; deferring gain on donuts. And then after we ate the donuts whether they would qualify as a 302(b) redemption of donuts or it was a distribution of donuts to us. We finally agreed on a type B forward triangular reorganization where I would form a sub with half donuts and half cash and he would contribute half of his donuts in exchange for 50% stock interest in my donut subsidiary.
Fuck my life.

I'd much rather be "wheelchair stuntin'" with Kate Upton than doing whatever the hell it is that I should be doing with the law

Re: 2L. No motivation
I literally have no idea how to study for my legislation exam, which my professor said "is like an undergrad exam, and based off what we talked about in class." Of course, I never paid attention in class. So not knowing how the hell to study, makes me just want to take a few days off and go shopping. Maybe re-read my textbook once.

Re: 2L. No motivation
My last exam is Bankruptcy, the test is MC and entirely based on class lecture/notes/problem sets.
You see the problem is, I missed almost the max allowable classes, didn't really take notes, and only did 4 of the 30 or so problem sets...
Should be terrified, but I'm strangely meh about it. The answers are going to be on the page right?

My last final is in a couple of hours. Closed book multiple choice. I am watching cat videos.

+1. I LOVE his treatise. There is no way on God's green earth that I am going to remember the particulars of each of the 150 cases we went over, but I do feel like I have a decent grasp on the development (more like cluster fuck) of the commerce clause and the rest of the stuff. There's only so much I can do with a closed book Con Law final, and I certainly don't have a photographic memory. Flash cards have helped immensely, though!rad lulz wrote:Eh I did like a quarter of the reads, made an A. Thanks, Chenerinsky.bceagles182 wrote:The worst thing about Con Law is that you kind of actually have to read the cases, because unlike most law school courses, the facts are often very importantas stars burn wrote:Aw, I missed this board.
My Evidence exam is going to suck like everyone else's except my teacher has a modified "open-book," which, according to her definition, allows us to essentially re-write a small outline into our rules book instead of bringing in a typed-version of the outline in (Whaa??). Yeah. I hope I can learn evidence in 4.5 days.
Also, unlike a lot of 2Ls, I have Con Law I this semester. Closed book and closed-note, and we must have gone through at least 150 cases. Fuck me.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
