** To the bro that got his F changed to an A ---> sue your school for NIED. Really. how does that get fucked up so badly? What if they accidentally put a B down instead of an F (and you were the type of student that did not check over exam grades to ensure accuracy)

I spoke to my property professor today about my shitty grade in that class. Apparently his exam was a 3 hour game of "guess what case I'm thinking of." On one of the questions, he had a case in mind that honestly does not make sense; it is not similar at all on the facts, and there was another case that was significantly more similar on the law. However in his weird, 87+ year old mind, it was the best case to use. If somebody other than that professor had told me before the exam to use that case on that question, I wouldn't have used it because I would have assumed that person was messing with me.

Not to mention that when talking about another part of the question, he just dismissed my analysis even though I was pretty close to what he was looking for. When I pointed this out he said, "Oh, I'm sure you got points for it." Consider me unconvinced.

Oh well. At least when I told him my other grades he seemed sufficiently shocked.

don't feel too bad, that happens to at least one or two of his students every year.

Got my Torts grade ... a gentleman's A. I'm glad that nightmare is over.

It's much nicer to have a 3.81 rather than a 2.75.

My average right now is a 0.00. Because I have no grades yet.

Got my first grade: B+ in torts. I'll take it, since that professor was always kinda crazy haha. Plus she's the only of my professors this semester who regularly gives C's (Penn's curve is 0-5% C, so some professors give none, but she gives the full 5% C rather than just curving up everyone else). Really hoping for a good grade in civ pro since I'm worried about contracts. As long as I can finish above median I'll be happy, though.

Got my second grade back, a B in contracts (first was a B+). Ugh. REALLY hoping my civ pro grade is an A/A-, which would leave me above median (though just barely with an A-). Another B would leave me at a 3.1, which is basically bottom 1/3.

Though oddly enough, this morning I made a prediction to myself about my grades (forgot to post it on here, unfortunately, so none of you will believe me), that I'd get a B in contracts, a B+ in torts, and an A- in civ pro. Wouldn't mind at all if my 3rd prediction comes true...

I don't think there is any way of knowing where the no offering comes from.

Anecdotally, I have heard firms have been more picky about 2L and 3L grades in the last few years.
