You guys go first.
A+, A+, A, B-, and a pass in LRW
I don't believe it. There's no way you passed LRW
Those actually aren't my real grades. I thought I had a B- but I talked to my professor and he recognized that I really understood the law well, so he raised it to an A-.

(but seriously, I had to post something)

I'll leave that part-- it might be fun to make people wonder what objectionable things I posted and deleted.

Thank you guys, though. This whole experience changed me-- for the better, I hope.

I don't have any grades yet either and have been unable to accomplish anything in school so far. I feel like I don't want to exert any effort in case I made a bunch of C's and just pack it up and leave.

Preparing for bad news by trying to decide what I might do were I to drop out.

Unanticipated negative side effect: no matter what my grades are, law school seems less interesting by comparison.

My last job was far more interesting than law school, which makes me like being in law school right now.

Less interesting is good. I never expect the law school to get shut down by the county coroner's office, and I like that.

Law school sucks. I've been doing the same thing about preparing/ bracing myself for terrible grades and a possible career change. An unintended side effect of this is that the more I've reflected on law school, I don't think I'll even be that excited about it if I do really well.

I vote JD/PhD in philosophy. You won't have to choose. Choosing is the hardest damn thing.

And Vanwinkle, if UVA gets shut down by the coroner's office, you must promise to take lots of pictures.

If I liked taking those kind of pictures, I'd probably be working for the coroner's office.

You had six graded classes in your first semester? Damn. I thought I had a lot with 4. Of which I still have zero grades, of course.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
