change that to "30 pages" and "tonight at midnight" and we're on the same page.

this note isn't for a class is it?

30 pages unwritten with only 2 hours to go is ballsy. beyond ballsy.

it's a half-truth. I really have done nothing and it really is technically due at midnight but I already asked for a 48 hour extension.

Just drank a bunch of caffeine so I could stay up and do work. Posting on TLS and watching the first season of The Walking Dead instead.

Bah, me and IAFG are on the same journal. It's 30 pages Courier New 12, with indented footnotes, with returns after each one. It's like 10 real pages.

I have a draft of a 20-page paper for one of my classes due Tuesday. I have written zero words.

Writing a 10 page appeal paper, a 5 page litigation paper and an extremely time consuming library project which is useless, and crosses in 7 hours today.

Whelp up to 4 pages. Gotta hit 6 or 7 and then ask for an extension (or until I run out of readily accessible material).

What is it about TLS people on this one? While there are a small minority of us in class clearly not giving a damn, there are alarming numbers of kids still showing up in gunner mode.

I have a feeling that 2L syndrome is not as prevalent as here suggested, and that the curve is going to eat me alive in a month.

+ A million. Most of my friends read, highlight and outline. I don't even know what the reading assignment is half the time.

Agreed with above posts. Some people even seem to be trying harder. Meanwhile, I went food shopping, worked out, then went to play soccer, then played a pick-up game after soccer all so I didn't have to work on my note today. Then tomorrow I'm going to collect sticks for a centerpiece for a dinner party Im having, then go out to dinner. By the time I get home it'll be like 9, at which point I'll probably just watch tv. Then Wens - I need to clean my entire house, and start cooking for said dinner party. Then thursday night I'm possibly going out for dinner again/cooking for the dinner party. I'm clearly not getting shit done this week, and my note is due next monday. I'm super fucked.

As someone who has to write 4 pages of his note by midnight, I +1 this.

Just sayin.' I spend just a little less time studying than last year, but it's only because the workload seems strangely bigger. I'm not really all that prepared for finals. Most of my outlining will be done in the next 3 weeks.

I still cannot muster up sufficient "give a fuck" despite passing every milestone that I thought would mark the point where I started giving a fuck again.

could not agree more. I remember november 1st rolling around and thinking ok this is the last month..if i dont start now, i am screwed. we're not almost 1/3 through november and I have accomplished little. i started outlinign for tax and am so overwhelmed..it is endless.

but good news is that i am doing *some* work..i just wnt to finish outlining by thanksgiving and ill be happy. I have my moments of motivation...they tend to die after an hour

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
