I guess I'm then confused about why you drink it by the ounce.
Well, I love Porterhouse steak. And fillet mignon. But it gets fucking expensive to just wolf it down, especially if you are in a decent restaurant like
Berns.
I also know that I don't really
need more than 1lb of meat for dinner, so I have to savour my meal.
If you build up a collection of decent Scotch, you are paying easily between $60 and $100 a bottle.
If you want the longer aged/rare/cask strength then you can expect to pay a lot more.
Why have a collection? Why not! Variety is always good, plus when you have friends over you can introduce them to the different styles.
And Fanta is better anyway.
