What are comparable EC's at HLS, whether well-regarded secondary journals or certain clinics or something different?

Nothing really compares apples-to-apples with law review. That's fine, because it's not necessary by any means for whatever it is you want to do. Joining some secondary journal merely to "replace" HLR sounds like a recipe for disappointment (with a side helping of wasted time).

The HLR website says they'll do calls over "several days". (Counterpoint: the website says the calls will happen in "the second of July" and... it's definitely not the second half of July yet, so who knows!)
