I got an A in torts!!!!!!!!! Honestly one of the happiest days of my life.

So far I'm at A- in Property and A in Torts. 1 more grade to go and it's only 3 credits (Torts and Prop are both 5).

Congrats, but I gotta ask, did your grade come out at midnight on a saturday?

Yeah, I've been checking all day every 30 mins or so. Last one came out around this time on a wednesday too.

Wow that's weird. Well at least it sounds like your GPA should be in pretty good shape. Does your school gives out A+s or is A the highest?

They give out A+s, but the professors are told that it's only for extraordinary circumstances. Top 10% is like 3.5X, currently I'm at 3.85. But I still need my crim grade, which I'm a little worried about.

Not every school has Northwestern's, um, generous grading scheme ; I think most grade much tighter around median. And if NYC Law's school has a median below B+, then 3.5x makes sense as a top 10% cutoff

still a week and a half before my grades are out. I'm glad most of you guys are getting good news on grades hopefully I can follow suit.

Definitely self selection -- bunch of lurkers and mostly inactive posters come back to post grades while a lot of regulars keep silent.

That's mostly because a lot of people from our schools are on here and in this thread so we have to keep them to ourselves.

I mean, I'd be satisfied with median and pretty excited for anything above. But then, Duke apparently has a strict policy of not releasing grades, ever.

I thought you meant that people selecting TLS are nerdier and get better grades on average.

I spent my entire semester lurking and soaking in the success strats. Posted grades just to claim that if you follow the TLS advice (<3 Arrow), it works - provided you customize it to your profs.

I also sat in the back and never said a word in class. Fulfilling a stereotype is my job.

I've been a fairly regular poster (though lurked more than posted during the semester), but have avoided saying too much about my grades as I think I'm pretty outed at my school. But screw it, sitting at median atm and terrified for civ pro.

I don't know who you are, but I know we had civ pro together! And yes, I'm terrified as hell for what's to come.

Also sitting with you, and our other classmates at median right now until civ pro comes to play--which very well may be March if last year is any indication about Shaw releasing grades.

At Hastings the top 15% hovers around a 3.5 depending on the year. Top 10% is more like 3.6 (but only one year of statistics is provided for that #).
