Is it the actual doctrines, or its exceptions?

The actual doctrine. I tried to help a few people out and they started spewing all this proximate cause and but-for causation and extreme indifference standards and I just gave up.

only one I have is the MPC for levels of mens rea, besides that not a single one

professor will put about 10 pages of statutes on the final, for which we are supposed to follow, and then fill in any gaps with case-law we learned throughout the semester

I really have no idea what to do with the cases we've read. Our prof said he's only testing MPC and Ohio law, so I'm paying attention to any Ohio cases we've read, but Ohio's code is pretty MPC-heavy. I wish crim was over so I could focus on Civ Pro. Sigh.

You took the words right out of my fingertips.

Don't forget Con Law. My prediction: we get to read 1000 pages of liberal v. conservative Supreme Court justices bitching at each other through dicta.

Anybody else read Chirelstein for contracts? It's incredibly helpful. BUT. In his section about promises to make gifts, his illustration involves a family member promising to pay off a niece's law school loans, "Up to a limit of $10,000."

Do you have any idea if the library has this on reserve? I'm pretty strong in contracts, but I want to get some more information on Battle of the Forms.

Also, LAWL.

chirelstein's little book is fantastic. abraham's little torts book is also phenomenal. i've been told that all of those little books in the concepts and insights series are good, actually.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
