Now I actually have all my grades, I have to say that the wait wasn't that bad. I'd say for 70% of the people the joy of having hope is better than cold, unforgiving reality.

Having said that, it's now fun to poke betasteve for not having grades. I feel like I'm waving a red flag at a bull, but surely he won't ban me  I'm only doing this b/c he'll probably have his A's by tomorrow and the chance'll be gone

I know! I was checking like every 2 minutes earlier, decided that was excessively neurotic and took a break- now I can't get in! The rational part of me knows that I should go to bed and just check in the morning. The crazy part is probably going to keep me up all night checking. <sigh>

Also, since I'm looking for my small section grade, and I don't think any of us are in the same section (could be wrong, though, I don't know who everyone is IRL), I don't even know for sure that I'll have any new grades posted.

Yay, insanity.

This better not screw up loan dispersement.
I don't even want to think about that . . . I need my loans ASAP and I need my 1098T's so I can finish my taxes!

I think the rational thing is to stay up and keep checking . . . I will seriously have issues trying to sleep until i find out

are the evals up? I had one yesterday and two today, and all the grades for them appeared today. Apparently our professors care more about grading over a long weekend than celebrating diversity.

This is so cute, it's like LSAT release day for law students and fewer people.

Can you be academically ineligble though? At NU, you have to have a 2.25 to graduate, but the lowest grade they most professors are willing to give out is a B-, or a 2.67.
My profs give out Cs.

Interesting, then I might have two up- one of my course evals. was posted last Thursday, one today- after the long wait for the one for Thursday, I didn't know if I should expect them both tonight or what.

I'm not sure if the prospect of having two posted makes me more or less likely to vomit, ugh.

I'd be willing to lie about it. Or, let's say, a heavy fudge in my favor. But now you know my plan, I'll have to go the extreme of saying I got a 4.0, or else you might see through my plan... (don't try to think that out, it makes no sense; we're half way through a six pack over here in celebration (or is it sorrow????))

Haha, I tried to pull up SIS and it defaults to some simple text-based login page that won't take my username/password. We really did a number on it tonight.

They need to release grades at completely random times. We figured out that whole midnight EST thing they had doing and blitzed the system.

Or they could just, you know, get better servers. This may have been excusable in the 1990s, but not in 2010.

This kid is a straight gunner. Don't be fooled. He's already contacted the Registrar's office to volunteer with helping to improve SIS.

Now that everyone seems calmer, the news is good at UVA.

Anyone else who wants to tell me their grades can.

Seriously I am proud of you guys, and, the shock, I'm getting emotional.

Since I haven't spoken to you, and I can imagine who has, I now know who probably has good grades (better than mine).

Thanks for that.

I still can't log in to see my grades and what damage has been done to my GPA.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
