Faculty handbook says grades are due tomorrow to be posted next week but advisor at the CDO said yesterday not to expect them until the end of the month/early Feb....

Haven't even gotten a grade for my 3rd memo...

I know our grades aren't even going to start coming out till the 17th, so I'm not freaking out majorly just yet. Watch me the night of 16th though, I'll probably sobbing into my pillow while my roommate pours me a stiff drink.

Got three out of 5. Ks A-, Con A-, LRW/LP B... Crim prof is a nice, somewhat unusual older woman, so I doubt she'll have her grades up until the end of the month. I expected Torts already.

For the others still waiting, are you dreaming about grades at night? I had probably ten dreams last night that I received my grades and I woke up after each one thinking my dream was real. I was very relieved after I realized that the dream that I got all C's was just a dream. We're supposed to get them tomorrow, so hopefully just one more night of weird dreams.

Got a Q- and a M+ in Contracts (my only remaining class). I know I subconsciously think I bombed that test, but...


Also, I know that our deadline isn't for another two days, but how do your two colleagues with wordvomit exams have their grades up and you with the 1400 word limit exam don't? For real, dude.

My GPA is 3.66 i was wondering if any of you think I cracked the top 10..?

I think you're there or really close if not. We're at the same school (99% sure) with almost identical grades. The NALP web site says that last year 15 people graduated with over 3.5 which is the cut off for summa or magna or something. That's not going to exactly fall into line with what our cutoffs are because of upper level seminars which give out more As, but it should be close.

FWIW, I think they deliberately drop a shitty grade in on us to keep us from transferring. It's crazy to see somebody else who did well in 4 classes and then gets screwed in the 5th.

Reg state is going to be unpredictable. I hope people in TLS are right as I feel Reg state was my worst exam. For the other classes, it's a mixed bag: One A and one B-

Officially 19 days until grades are posted.

And we don't get As, Bs, etc. Median is 3.3 (not B+) and grades are given in increments of .1 from 2.x all the way up to 4.3.

That's rough. We are writing a motion memo and an appellate brief this semester for LARW. Then we have a moot court competition after the writing portion of LARW concludes, which is not graded but requires a "good faith effort."

my grade is comprised of a brief and an oral argument. i'm not looking forward to the oral argument. also, my class is much smaller than r&w I, which means more competition for higher grades. boo.

That sucks, how big is the class? Ours is pass/fail, which is better definitely better than my graded LWR. The bad thing is we have our final brief (15-20 pages) due Feb 29th. We have a 10 error rule, where if you make 10 errors in the entire brief you have to redo it during spring break, or fail. After spring break, we have oral arguments. I picked my topic because I thought it would be interesting, but it turns out it's probably the hardest and our section's reading packet is like twice the size of everyone else's. I'm soooo not looking forward to this semester.
