Offense intended, WUS-TLSers are way below par in terms of being terrible.

The great minds at WUSTL somehow didn't foresee the potential problems of giving the same section involved in the exam nonsense last semester a 24 hour take home exam.BigZuck wrote:What happened now?

Re: A Most Sincere Middle Finger to Fake ADHD Law Students
1. The only way to cheat on a take home exam is to like, work together with the people you are being graded against, which is stupid.
2. The only way people would find out if you cheat on a take home exam in such a manner is if you told people, which is even stupider.
3. My class is pretty chill. The class below mine is probably more chill. The 1L class is the biggest group of neurotic back-stabbing whiny dicks I have ever seen (present company on TLS excluded). It certainly doesn't help that your class made section groups, and uses those and the main 1L facebook group to gossip and stir shit up. Also I think it helps that our classes had the good sense to ostracize the objectively terrible members of our classes. For you guys, there are like, 10-15 people who stir up 95% of the shit, but people still hang out with them.

Yeah it sucks too b/c the 2L/3L class are cool and chill. Whatever, one more exam and then we can worry about this nonsense.Birdnals wrote:1. The only way to cheat on a take home exam is to like, work together with the people you are being graded against, which is stupid.

It is shameful how bad we are. We have never met, but I think I recognized you by your underdeveloped calves outside of the school a few weeks ago. I was really excited and would have said hi except I remembered how bad the class of 2017 is as a whole and decided against it. At least I'm not section C though.Birdnals wrote:1. I agree but apparently they did anyway lolBirdnals wrote:1. The only way to cheat on a take home exam is to like, work together with the people you are being graded against, which is stupid.
My class and section really do suck though. Way, way less chill than I anticipated. But your points of the few ruining the dynamic for the many and childish use of social media are both credited.

Section C had an illegal cartel causing market distortions on the price of handjobs in our 5th floor mens room. I hear Fiero was behind it, too. An antitrust case is pending, though, so I can't say much more.bjsesq wrote:EDUCATE ME ON THE GOINGS ON

Many small things that just have added up over time:bjsesq wrote:EDUCATE ME ON THE GOINGS ON
Fake outlines
Study groups with (laughably unenforceable) NDAs
Any classic insufferable gunner class behaviour has come up at least once
One of our professors used supplement questions for his OPEN BOOK exam (supp included model answers)
Another prof re-used his (unreleased) 2013 exam verbatim for us
And rumor has it that C is an LSAT-stacked section bc mucho splitters together
I think that's most of it

And it's not just at WUSTL or in-state. That's why I wrote that paper on federal RICO being bullshit...

You forgot the worst part: They take up all the seats in the courtyard. I can't find a seat in there this year.Fiero85 wrote:

An influx of undergrads because of the improved law school cafe is the consensus main reason for this. Sucks for us all though.Outis Onoma wrote:

1.people stealing outlines from people when they leave their cubicle for a minute or stealing them off the printer.
2.at our initial informational meeting for write on, you had to sign the sign in sheet proving you were there, otherwise you would supposedly not be able to participate in write on. Someone (if your a WUSTL 1L, you know who) kept the sign on sheet so no one would be able to sign it and, in theory, not be able to participate in write on.

I'm sorry...what is this? Like someone created an intentionally bad outline and then shared it in order to sabotage others?Fiero85 wrote: Fake outlines

Oh, and what about the fact that there was a smear campaign over worthless student government positions? That was fun.
