Re: What is your worst law school finals experience?
I decided not to talk about a nuisance issue that I am now kicking myself for. My teacher was obsessed with strict liability and nuisance. And I freakin decided not to talk about it because I knew it would fail as an argument and I was under severe time pressure. I am kicking myself hard now because I knew nuisance cold. Any other stories like this? Maybe this doesn't sound that bad....but I really really wanted an A and I fear I won't get one now.

There was a loss of consortium issue that one of the hypos could have brought up. I decided against it because I had other stuff to write and it seemed like a really weak argument to me anyway. After the final I jokingly asked my friend whether she caught the loss of consortium issue, to which she replied that thats ALL she wrote about. Now I am freaking out that naybe it was a much bigger deal than I originally thought.

My worse experience: Walking out feeling that you got an A and actually getting a C-. then going to talk to the professor about it; him telling me that now that he is "reading" my test, he feels I could have gotten a better grade, but now it is what it is. "I was overwhelmed by how much you wrote"

ironically i think this might bring down your overall gpa, instead of artificially inflating it.OGR3 wrote:I'd let you borrow mine, but I'm such a gunner I want to ruin the curve in other sections as well.

Examsoft also has a page break button at the top. I just throw in an actual page break between each essay and they print off starting on a new page for each question.General Tso wrote:I knew about that and I still answer my questions that way. The records office is just going to print them off, and it looks roughly the same either way as long as you number them like you said.traehekat wrote:I didn't realize that when there are multiple questions on the exam, ExamSoft has a function where you arrow from question 1, 2, 3, etc. I just put my entire exam on the space for question 1, indicating which question I was answering. I found out I goofed after the exam but before I closed it, and the proctor said it was fine and that it would be fixed when it was printed for grading.
So no harm done, but man did I feel silly. I CAN'T imagine I'm the first to do this, though.
